Fullstack capstone projects: EVOX and Breezeblocks

I’ve had the honor of mentoring two great senior teams at Fullstack Academy over the last few weeks. I’d like to show off their projects here to give you an idea of the caliber of this cohort’s skill and creativity.

EVOX is a 3D life simulator game. Inspired by cellular automata models (like Conway’s “Game of Life”), EVOX allows you to create and customize fully rendered 3D environments that are richly inhabited with dynamic, intelligent lifeforms with the ability to grow, procreate, and die over time.

You can try it out at EVOX.life.

I’m doubly proud to point out that EVOX was created using Meaniscule!

Breezeblocks is a drag-and-drop web application that exports React Native code to make mobile apps for iPhone. Users have the option to export their designs directly to Github or download a zipped directory. The code can then be loaded into Xcode to build a native iPhone app.

You can try Breezeblocks at breezeblocks.io.

All four members of this team have been selected to become Teaching Fellows at Fullstack. I wish them all the best!
